Dear Friends,

Each year, the Matt Kitner Memorial Golf Tournament at Nabnasset Lake Country Club brings together friends, neighbors, and local businesses to invest in the future of Westford.

Through the Matt Kitner Memorial Charity, we award scholarships to graduating seniors at Westford Academy, with a special focus on students pursuing trade school, certification programs, apprenticeships, or direct entry into the workforce. These students often do not qualify for traditional college based scholarships, yet they represent the hardworking spirit that Matt embodied and defines our town.

This tournament was created in memory of Matt Kitner, a lifelong Westford resident who believed deeply in hard work, service, and showing up for others.  After a 15 month battle with cancer, Matt passed away in 2022 on his 53rd birthday.  In his honor, we chose to focus this effort on helping young people take their next step into adulthood, especially those building careers through non college pathways, much like Matt did.

Over the past four years, this event has sold out and, thanks to the generosity of local businesses and community members, we have been able to make a meaningful impact right here at home.  Every sponsorship directly supports Westford students and strengthens our local community.

Your participation does more than support a good cause. It demonstrates a shared commitment to Westford families and to the next generation of workers, tradespeople, and small business owners who may one day serve this very town.
